Andrews Corner (Skaigh Lane, Belstone EX20 1RD) are holding their usual two Autumn Garden openings in October. Wander among the Japanese maples, gentians and cyclamen and enjoy the ever-changing colours in this high moorland garden, against the backdrop of Cosdon Beacon. Dogs on leads are welcome too and, with refreshments, a family quiz sheet, children’s playhouse to visit and fairy doors to seek out, there is something for all ages to enjoy. Parking in nearby field; visitors may be dropped off at the house.
On Sunday 16th we will be open for the National Gardens Scheme, from 2.00pm -5.00pm, with the usual homemade cream teas.
On Sunday 23rd it will be for The Children’s Hospice South West, from 11am-4pm with hot pasties, homemade soup, cakes, hot and cold beverages for sale, provided by The Belstone Friends’ Group. Also on sale will be homemade jam, marmalade and CHSW promotional goods and Christmas cards. For further information, contact Edwina or Robin on 01837 840332 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
