Andrews Corner ‘Snowdrop Sunday’ 11th February for the Children’s Hospice South West

You are invited to Andrews Corner, Belstone, where the Belstone and Area Group of Friends of the Children’s Hospice South West are, once again, hosting the popular Snowdrop Sunday – amongst some very well-known characters. Where else could n you meet Dionysus, Lavinia, Titania, Ophelia, Cordelia, Tiny Tim, Merlin, Robin Hood and Little John as well as Lady Elphinstone, Lady Beatrix Stanley, Ophelia, Lavinia and Cordelia and Tiny Tim – all at the same party?

With over 100 different varieties of snowdrops in the garden, as well as early crocus, dwarf daffodils and hellebores, along with the intoxicating scent of Daphne bholua there is plenty of interest for everyone, with the views across the Skaigh Valley to Dartmoor helping to create a wonderful backdrop to this peaceful garden.

So, come and enjoy the start of spring and sample the refreshments on offer, which include hot soup, cheese scones, bacon baps, hot drinks and cakes. Indoor space available for those who prefer to view the garden or consume refreshments in relative warmth.

Snowdrops and CHSW goods will also be for sale and there is ample parking – well signed – in a nearby field. We look forward to welcoming you to Andrews Corner, Skaigh Lane, Belstone EX20 1RD on Sunday 11th February from 11.00am until 4.00pm, when you help us, once again, to raise funds for this very worthy cause.
